QUESTIONS:

DO I NEED A DJ, MUSICIAN OR MC?

We’re performers and entertainers, here to create the perfect atmosphere and unforgettable vibes. If you value great music and memorable experiences, we’re the perfect match for you.

A DJ, musician, or MC brings their own style and energy to your event – it all comes down to your personal preference

DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS?

You can submit song requests before and during your event.

A great DJ knows how to play the right song at the right time, but we’re open to suggestions too.

For live music, requests are limited by the musician’s song list.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?

First, we’ll ask what music you’d like played.

Our DJs and musicians cover a wide range of genres: Pop, EDM, Top 40, Hip-Hop, RnB, House, Disco, Jazz, Country, Rock, Soul, Motown, Retro, Latin, and more – from the 1950’s to today.

WHAT KIND OF EVENTS DO YOU COVER?

Weddings, private parties, milestone birthdays, corporate events, award ceremonies, product launches, fitness classes, and more – we’ll set the tone to match your event, from cocktail vibes to high-energy dancefloors.

CAN I GIVE YOU A PLAYLIST?

Yes! We encourage you to share your playlists – collaborating on music brings the best results.

We’ll start with your favorites, then read the room to keep the vibe going and get everyone singing and dancing.

WHAT ABOUT THE SONGS I DONT WANT PLAYED?

Tell us the songs and artists you don’t want played and we won’t play them.

WHAT IS A DJ MIXTAPE?

This is just a sample – a glimpse of what a DJ can mix and play.

As an open-format DJ, I blend a wide range of genres and tempos to keep the energy up and the dancefloor rocking.

WHAT DOES AN MC DO?

MC’s (emcee) bring loads of energy and keep the crowd engaged, usually with a few laughs along the way.

They follow the event timeline, coordinating with guests and suppliers, and use the mic for speeches, introductions, and announcements.

WHO WILL BE OUR DJ, MUSICIAN AND / OR MC?

Dan will be your DJ and / or MC. Sarah Archer or Luke Yeaman would be your musician depending on your preference.

You can chat directly with each of us in the lead up to your event.

We are not a multi-op agency so there are no middle men.

DO YOU HAVE A WIRELESS MICROPHONE?

Yes, most packages include a wireless mic at no extra cost for speeches.

CAN I PLUG IN MY iPHONE OR PLAY MUSIC FROM YOUTUBE or TIKTOK?

Technically yes, it is possible, but we don’t recommend it.

We’d be happy to source the music before your event to avoid interrupting the flow and energy of the performance.

DO YOU PROVIDE ALL GEAR? DECKS, LIGHTS, SPEAKERS, MICROPHONE ETC?

Yes. Pro-quality speakers, wireless microphone, DJ decks, DJ booth, musical instruments, and dancefloor lighting.

If the venue already has its own audio / visual system we may use that by choice.

WHAT ARE YOUR REQUIREMENTS FROM THE VENUE OR LOCATION?

Generally speaking:

– A safe power supply (two dedicated plugs exclusively for us)
– A performance area that’s spacious enough, with shelter from direct sunlight, rain, and other weather conditions
– Parking close by for easy load-in / load-out of heavy equipment; we can park elsewhere afterward
– 2WD vehicle access to the location

HOW DO I BOOK?

A non-refundable deposit of around 25% of the total fee secures your performer(s) on your event date.

The remaining balance is due closer to your event.

Pay via bank transfer or credit / debit card.

WHAT IF I HAVE TO CHANGE THE DATE?

Depending on lead time and availability, we are happy to reschedule to a new date.

HOW MUCH DOES A DJ OR MUSICIAN COST?

The exact cost depends on factors such as the performer, performance duration, location, venue, event type and guest count.

Generally, the prices listed in the Package Guide reflect what you’ll pay.

If there are any differences, we’ll let you know before confirming your booking.

WHAT ABOUT TIME FOR TRAVEL, AND BUMP IN / OUT?

Travel and bump-in / bump-out times are separate from the booked performance time and are generally included in the package price.

Bump-in typically takes about 1 hour, and bump-out takes around 45 minutes.

Up to 45 minutes of travel each way is included in the package.

Additional costs may apply for extended travel, early bump-in, or challenging load-ins.

WHAT ABOUT BACKUP FOR EQUIPMENT, OR BACKUP PERFORMERS?

We carry backup equipment with us, we also have great relationships with other performers who we can call upon in the event of the unexpected or an emergency.

WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE?

As required by many venues we have public liability insurance covering the performer. This is not insurance for you, your event or venue.

We’ve done this more times than we can count! Get in touch for a friendly chat, we’ll point you in the right direction.

WHAT ABOUT YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADE?

We are happy to supply these before you make a booking.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?

Don’t waste any time checking on our availability, especially for weekends and busy periods.

If we are good fit for you, we suggest you book us in before someone else does.

HOW DO WE PLAN MUSIC?

We will offer tips and guidance, a video planning meeting, along with a questionnaire.

CAN YOU MOVE LOCATIONS AT A VENUE?

Yes, we can perform at different locations at a venue and make sure the music is always playing between locations.

CAN YOU PLAY OUTSIDE?

Yes, but we’ll need shelter from the elements, and a safe power source.

CAN A MUSICIAN LEARN A NEW SONG FOR A COUPLE?

Yes, and we love doing this. We’ll just need a little time to learn them.

We take this work seriously, but please bear in mind songs and musicians have unique styles and qualities.

If the musician believes they can’t perform a certain song to a high standard, we’ll recommend the recorded version is played.

CAN ONE OF THE GUESTS BE THE MC AND YOU JUST BE THE DJ?

Yes, we are happy to work with and support your chosen MC

DO WE GET TO CHOOSE ANY SONG WE WANT FOR KEY MOMENTS LIKE OUR FIRST DANCE?

Yes, absolutely! We’ll share tips and tricks for each, ensuring the moment is extra special.
