Dan – DJ Bio:
I started spinning tunes at house parties before getting a shot in a club. Then came Friday & Saturday night residencies in Queenstown, NZ. I’ve since DJ’d thousands of times in bars, clubs, house parties, casinos, snowy ski-fields and events across the UK, NZ & Australia.
My style is open format meaning I mix together multiple genres. My selections are based on what the audience or client want to hear. DJing is a vibe, it has to be fun and I feed off the energy. I lean towards remixes and mixing multiple genres but I’m always to play the original or a certain genre.
I get booked by wedding couples and planners, corporates and private events.
What is a DJ Mixtape?
My mixtapes are the tip of the iceberg of the music. They are a small sample of tunes mixed together and recorded live. Take a listen to a selection of 80s, house, hip-hop/RnB, bangers and throwbacks.
